O'Connell Racing (OConnellRacing.com), a southern California based Grand-Am Rolex Series and NASCAR specific road racing team announced today that it has formally entered the 24 Hours of Daytona for 2008. Sharing driver responsibilities for the prestigious race will be Kevin O'Connell joined by IMSA winning driver Kevin Roush, Rolex Series driver Hugh Plumb, and veteran professional driver Kris Wilson. Kevin O'Connell commented, “ 2008 represents our second attempt at the 24 Hour after a top ten in 2007 in GT. We spent much of last year learning how to run these races and I believe we have better equipment and a significantly more experienced team for this year's running. Our goal like last year is to run a smart race, manage the car and be there in the morning."
