INTERNETGAMING.CO TO SPONSOR AMERICA’S KEVIN O’CONNELL IN 2ND ANNUAL NASCAR “EURO RACECAR SERIES” IN EUROPE
HOLLYWOOD, CA. June 3rd, 2013 – InternetGaming.co (IGCO), a software & technology solutions company for the international gaming industry announced today that the company has signed to sponsor American road course driver Kevin O’Connell from southern California for three NASCAR Euro Racecar series races in 2013, beginning with the American SpeedFest event at the United Kingdom’s most iconic sporting venue, Brands Hatch motor racing circuit. Racing is scheduled for June 8th and 9th.
KEVIN O’CONNELL SIGNS WITH FRENCH TEAM FJ FOR NASCAR EURO RACECAR SERIES
HOLLYWOOD, CA. May 27, 2013 — O’Connell Racing (OCR), a professional motorsports marketing company and General Pacific Partners, LLC (GPP) a private venture investment firm based in Southern California jointly announced today that road course driver Kevin O’Connell has signed with the French owned NASCAR racing outfit Team FJ for the American SpeedFest race at the United Kingdom’s most iconic sporting venues, Brands Hatch motor racing circuit.
Located in Fawkham, (Kent) England, Brands Hatch (www.BrandsHatch.co.uk) circuit’s unique combination of fearsome corners and hill, dips and chambers, is considered one of the world’s favorite circuits, whilst Paddock Bend remains one of the great racing corners in the world, plunging blind, fast downhill.
Brands Hatch will be transformed into a scene from Daytona with American-derived motorsport providing entertainment on track and an array of US themed activities.
On track action will be headlined by the superb Euro Racecar NASCAR Touring Series. Led into each race by the Chevrolet Camaro Pace Car, these NASCAR V8 racecars will provide thrill a minute bumper-to-bumper racing akin to the spectacle produced by the world famous NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
Continuing the supercharged American theme on track will be Pickup Trucks, the Legends Cars Cup from France and the iconic Mustangs, Falcons and Corvettes from Bernie’s Historic V8 Racing Association.
There will also be hundreds of American vehicles on show, a Chevrolet display, live music and the world famous Red Devils parachute display team dropping in for a flying visit.
Driver Kevin O’Connell commented, “Last year we started to think about new forms of motorsports in countries where our venture partners products and services could be interesting to consumers outside of North America. We have witnessed the effectiveness of NASCAR’s model in America and decided to take the road course experiences that we gained in the Grand Am Rolex Series and the NASCAR Xfinity Series and apply it in Europe.”
Racing is scheduled for June 8th and 9th.
